Streak & milestones

Consistency is the #1 predictor of Substack growth. StackSweller makes it visible.

Publishing streak

Your streak counts the number of consecutive days you’ve published a note. It resets to zero if you miss a day.

Streak heatmap

The heatmap (inspired by GitHub’s contribution graph) shows your activity over the past year. Each cell is a day; the darker the color, the more notes you published that day.

This gives you an instant visual of your publishing patterns — busy weeks, quiet periods, and streaks.

💡 Tip

Even one short note per day keeps your streak alive. Use AI generation to quickly fill gaps when you’re time-constrained.

Milestones

The milestone widget tracks your next upcoming goal — subscriber count, published note count, or streak length.

When you hit a milestone, StackSweller shows a celebration prompt. Milestones are a useful checkpoint for reflecting on what’s working.

Milestone examples

  • 🎯 First 10 published notes
  • 🎯 25 subscribers
  • 🎯 7-day publishing streak
  • 🎯 100 notes published
  • 🎯 500 subscribers

Milestones are set automatically based on your current progress. You’ll always have a visible next target.
