AI Generation

Generate from a post

If you write long-form Substack posts, you can use AI to extract multiple short notes from a single post — each highlighting a different idea, quote, or takeaway.

This is a great way to promote your posts and maintain a consistent publishing cadence without writing everything from scratch.

How it works

  1. Go to the Posts page and open any post
  2. Click Generate notes from this post
  3. Choose how many notes to generate (typically 3–8)
  4. Optionally add instructions (“focus on actionable tips”, “use a question format”, etc.)
  5. Click Generate

StackSweller sends the full post content to Claude and returns a batch of draft notes.

Review and select

You’ll see all generated notes in a preview grid. You can:

  • Select the ones you want to keep
  • Edit individual notes inline
  • Discard ones that don’t fit
  • Schedule the selected ones in bulk

💡 Tip

Schedule the generated notes over several days to trickle out post promotion — this keeps your feed active without spamming your subscribers.

Credit usage

Batch generation uses credits based on the number of notes generated. Check your balance in Settings → Usage before running large batches.
