Generate from a post
If you write long-form Substack posts, you can use AI to extract multiple short notes from a single post — each highlighting a different idea, quote, or takeaway.
This is a great way to promote your posts and maintain a consistent publishing cadence without writing everything from scratch.
How it works
- Go to the Posts page and open any post
- Click Generate notes from this post
- Choose how many notes to generate (typically 3–8)
- Optionally add instructions (“focus on actionable tips”, “use a question format”, etc.)
- Click Generate
StackSweller sends the full post content to Claude and returns a batch of draft notes.
Review and select
You’ll see all generated notes in a preview grid. You can:
- Select the ones you want to keep
- Edit individual notes inline
- Discard ones that don’t fit
- Schedule the selected ones in bulk
💡 Tip
Schedule the generated notes over several days to trickle out post promotion — this keeps your feed active without spamming your subscribers.
Credit usage
Batch generation uses credits based on the number of notes generated. Check your balance in Settings → Usage before running large batches.
